• Rob Leslie, Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year 2006 & 2010 Federal Duck Stamp Award Winner, has painted two paintings for the book.  The first "Old & New" features two Giannetto Black Duck decoys, one from Vince's teenage years (featured in the story) and the other a 2001 Best-of-Show.  The painting shows the change in style and ability of the carver over the 5 decades of his work.  This painting is similar to Leslie's paintings of old decoys by long-gone carvers, and it is a rare honor for him to paint two of Giannetto's.  The other painting, "Black Ducks & Pines", shows an old-timer hunting from a sneak  box as featured in the story line and is currently available for purchase.  Go to the News page to view both paintings.
